World Building.

The rough descrption of a fictional world is a work on it's own. Even single pieces; a creature, a character or device belongs in a much larger context, it's own world. In large fictional works entire universes are to be created, filling them in their whole extenssion with original, consistent, believable and interesting content is a challenge. The way creatures interact with their enviroment, the culture to which a charater belongs or what kind of nation manufatures a product are an often unseen, yet extensive part of developing fiction.

These enterprises are usually worked by a large groups of developers, but an exentive descriptive work by designated creative minds goes a long way to guide the deveopment of an great piece of fiction.

A big volume of my work for hire are heavy amounts of simple writing of things that could be and quick sketches of all the things that are distinguishable unique or need a visual cues for later development.

Concept Design.

Rough sketches meant to visualize ideas are the bulk of my work, and some would say my most recognizable style.

A detailed sketch, line or black and white drawing is the best way to make sure something is designed and built right, at least in my experience is the most cost-effective. I usually take orders of a substancial ammount of pieces that need to be visualized for either production or public and produce them sistematically.
The range of prices is quite flexible too, since I can split the variable numer of concepts required to fit more on a single page (albait with a reduced detail value). This makes the commision of sketches suitable to most kinds and levels of production and schedulues and budgets.

Illustration.

Sometimes a line drawing and a neat design won't cut it. The location and purpose of certain images requires a depth of inmersion and emotion best achieved by lights and color.

Full color renders are the most time consuming products I sell (with the excption of the occasional 3D realization, usually quite off the menu) but the results are also the most impressive and satisfying.
Digital paintings are great to depict key elements of a fiction in all their glory, for covers and promotional material, to indicate mood and assist other artists down the development pipe of work to make the right colors and themes.
